Milton School Joins Forces with Milton Food Pantry
Gathering Donations for Thanksgiving  | November 2023

A Milton elementary school, led by Monica, one of the school's long-time administrators displayed some serious teamwork in November with 100's of students, families, faculty and staff members gathering donations for The Milton Food Pantry. 

Organizing bags that included a range of items -- from fruit and vegetables -- to stuffing, gravy, coffee/tea and dessert -- to and paper goods and utensils -- over 40 bags were donated to The Milton Food Pantry on the Friday before Thanksgiving.

Projects like this are vital for communities in general to thrive, but -- in particular -- with food insecurity at an all-time, post-pandemic high, it's even more critical to be creating or engaging in such local activism on a regular basis. 

With the holiday season just getting underway, now is the perfect time to organize such projects at your school -- with your sports -- dance -- or robotics team -- or in your neighborhood
